The call remains in the hands of incoming Governor Hon Captain Karauri who can assemble a professional team, establish measurable performance indicators, coordinate government agencies and ensure that public funds deliver value.
As Kenya approaches the 2027 General Election, Nairobi residents have an opportunity to examine gubernatorial aspirants beyond their political affiliations, popularity and campaign slogans.
The debate should focus on their professional backgrounds, leadership records, administrative abilities and practical plans for transforming the capital.

Nairobi is not a political playground it is a big corporation that needs a CEO, not just a politician. Capt. Karauri has proven he understands budgeting, management and creating opportunities. He has what it takes to fix drainage, traffic, garbage and make Nairobi work for business.
It's time for practical solutions, not rhetoric. Karauri is the leader Nairobi needs in 2027.
