A NEW VISION AND HOPE FOR NAMBALE RESIDENTS AS MULANYA RANKED TOP BEST PERFORMING MP

Following the rising political temperatures in Kenya on the who is who on the political arena ,Hon Geoffrey Mulanya from Nambale has shocked many by changing his moves ,this has led him being rated the number one Mp across Western region through a performance research report by pollster rankings.

Pollster rankings has ranked Hon Mulanya among top ten Members Nationally who are performing best in their various constituents with a 88.2% at number 10 ,top of the list is Hon Yegon Brighton Leonard from Koin Constituency out 290 constituency

The Rise in prominence of Hon Mulanya has stunned many as he is seen by many analyst as resilent,sharp and influential , in 2022 Hon Mulanya Won the Nambale seat as an independent candidate a zone that was highly considered as an Opposition Zone .

Since entering Parliament, Mulanya has served on key committees, including the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee and the Energy Committee. Parliamentary records show his continued participation in debates and legislative business.

His parliamentary engagement has also earned recognition outside Parliament. The Pollster Rankings for August–October 2024 named Mulanya the Best MP in Busia County, placing him ahead of other legislators from the county.

The Infotrak Elected Leaders Rating 2024 gave Mulanya a performance score of 52 percent and listed him among the Top 100 MPs nationally. Within Busia County, he was ranked among the leading MPs, alongside legislators from Teso North, Butula and Funyula.

With a difference of more than 9000 from his close competitor given that the area was his proven track record

Mulanya’s independent identity remains central to his political career. His election showed that candidates without major-party backing can win through a constituency-focused agenda.

For Nambale residents, his journey represents the power of voter confidence, parliamentary engagement and effective representation.

Hon Mulanya now faces the challenge of sustaining his performance and growing influence in the 13th Parliament.
