KENYA'S TOP LEADERSHIP CALL FOR UNITY AT THANKSGIVING SERVICE HONORING KAJIADO NORTH MCA HON ELI GOR



A spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence took center stage during a thanksgiving service held in honor of MCA Hon. Eli Gor From Ololua ward in Kajiado county. The event, which brought together a host of high-ranking government officials and local leaders, underscored the importance of harmony and collaboration in driving development.

The ceremony was graced by prominent national leaders led by Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi . He was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Energy Hon Opiyo Wandayi and Principal Secretary in charge of Irrigation Hon Ephantus Kimotho. Their presence highlighted the national government’s support and recognition of grassroots leadership.

From the county government, Kajiado leadership was represented by Deputy Governor H.E Martin Moshisho alongside several Members of County Assembly and other local administrators. The leaders joined residents and stakeholders in celebrating Hon. Gor’s service and contributions to the community.

In their addresses, speakers consistently emphasized the need for unity across political, ethnic, and social divides, called on leaders and citizens alike to embrace dialogue and mutual respect as key pillars for national progress. They noted that sustainable development can only be achieved in an environment of peace and cooperation.

Similarly,  highlighted the role of collective responsibility in nation-building, urging leaders at all levels to prioritize the interests of mwananchi over personal or political ambitions.  Echoed these sentiments, pointing to ongoing government initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods through inclusive development programs.

Deputy Governor  reaffirmed the county government’s commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence among communities in Kajiado, noting that unity remains a cornerstone for growth and stability in the region.

Hon. Eli Gor in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the leaders and residents for their support. He reiterated his commitment to serving his constituents diligently and promoting unity within the county.

The thanksgiving service concluded with prayers and a renewed call for cohesion, leaving attendees with a shared resolve to work together toward a more united and prosperous society.
